The SkyRocket team is excited about the arrival of iOS 7! Below are some of the changes you should be sure to take into account when updating your applications.
Deprecation of Mac Addresses
With iOS 7, Apple has officially deprecated MAC addresses. We believe that this is a great step for the developer/advertising community to have a standardized tracking system in the form of IDFA. All of our current tracking services such as Download tracking, Incentivized downloads and S2S Feed advertising should work as long as you’re on SDK version 1.36 or higher.
Porting your app(s) to support the 64-bit run-time system
Starting with iOS 7, Apple allows you to include a 64-bit binary which can run in a 64-bit runtime environment. Until the SkyRocket SDK contains the 64-bit architecture, you will run into errors with Xcode when trying to include the new architecture in your app. We are working to release a version of our SDK that is 64-bit compatible in order for your applications to run quickly and efficiently. Please stay tuned!
